How to remove the roof lining panel on a Golf 6? Let’s see all the parts to remove to take off the panel. To remove the roof lining panel, start by removing the side handles with a screwdriver, then remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. Detach the covers at the sides of the pillars. Once everything is removed, detach the roof lining panel around the perimeter of the car's roof. Once the panel is free, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out as it may break. Replace the panel with a new one.
