How do we remove the headlining from a Volkswagen Golf? This guide will show you how to proceed. Remove the side handles of the headlining using a screwdriver, then remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. Once all the panel support brackets are removed, detach the clips of the headlining around the perimeter of the car roof. Once the panel is free from fastenings, you can pull it out from the boot of the car. Be careful when pulling it out of the car as it may break at the corners. Finally, reassemble the new panel starting in reverse order.
