How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V70?

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Service warning light

You can completely clear the Service light on the Volvo V70 by holding down the button located on the left side of the instrument panel while it is off: continue to hold this button, and insert the key into the ignition to turn on the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is powered on, continue to hold the button until the light is cleared; at the end of the procedure, you can release the button and turn off the display completely.
