Installing Chrome Mirror Cap

Model: Volvo S60 MK 2 - Years 2010-2018

Using a plastic trim tool, detach the mirror and disconnect the connectors attached to it. From inside the exterior mirror, you can see the plastic tabs that secure the outer cap (and the guide slots for the ribs behind the mirror): release the tabs and remove the cap by simply pulling it off. Then, apply the new chrome cap (easily available in the aftermarket), ensuring it snaps correctly onto the corresponding mounting tabs. Finally, reconnect the connectors to the mirror and snap it back into place.
