How do you remove the mirror glass mounted in the rearview mirror of a Volvo S60? Use a plastic or rubber-coated lever to pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror; this is a very delicate operation because the glass or the mirror itself could break.

Once the damaged mirror glass is removed, disconnect the power connector for the glass, pressing on the locking clips to detach the mirror cover. Finally, replace the damaged piece with the new one. Be careful to engage the plastic snap clips.
