In this video we can see how to replace the interior rear view mirror in the Volvo V40, a very simple and quick operation. First we disengage the small cap on the back, then completely remove the cover. Next, we grab the mirror rod and rotate it about 90 degrees counterclockwise, thus unscrewing it from the base. At this point we can remove the mirror, eliminate any glue residue and apply the replacement mirror. To reposition the mirror at the base, it will be sufficient to insert it in the same position in which it was extracted and rotate it clockwise.
