Operation: How to remove the mirror of a Volvo S60 / V60

In order to remove the mirror from the Volvo S60 / V60 (mirror removal is identical) we will need a Torx T25 wrench, a Torx T30 and a thin but strong plastic removal tool. Let's start by removing the door panel by unscrewing the two screws located under the internal door handle with the Torx T25. So let's proceed with removing the internal plastic placed at the corner of the window near the rear-view mirror and disconnect the plug connected to it. At this point, with the help of the thin but strong tool, we insert it between the door panel and the door itself, and by sliding it we will unhook the hooks of the panel. By doing this we will have correctly detached the door panel, but before removing it we will have to disconnect the opening handle, releasing the two clips that fix it and the electrical plugs. Once this is done we can begin to remove the plug connected to the mirror. Then we unscrew and remove the three screws with the Torx T30. Once these screws have been removed, all that remains is to gently lift the mirror and then extract it from its seat, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.
