In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the front fairing on the Yamaha NMAX 250 scooter, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we identify the plastic rivets located on the back of the fairing, then we unlock them with a hex key and remove them from their respective holes. We then grip the fairing from one of the two ends, levering if necessary with a preferably plastic spatula, and separate it from the frame. We then complete the main operation, such as replacing the battery, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.

How to Remove the Final Drive from a BMW R 1200 GS?

To remove the final drive from a BMW R 1200 GS, loosen the bolts securing the exhaust so it can be removed along with the rear wheel. The rear wheel will also be removed by unscrewing the five bolts that secure it to the swingarm. Next, detach the brake caliper by unscrewing the mounting bolts and remove the rear part of the swingarm. Inside, you will find the final drive, which should be extracted and replaced with a new spare part; after replacement, reassemble all previously removed components.
