How to replace the battery of the Yamaha Xmax 250

Model: Yamaha Xmax 250
Part: Battery

Video tutorial

Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the Yamaha Xmax 250 in a simple and quick way. To perform the battery replacement, we need to use a screwdriver to remove the cover by unscrewing the two screws. After removing the cover, we will need to take off the front of the scooter in order to access the battery.

We remove the battery clamp by unscrewing the nut and proceed with the replacement by disconnecting the positive terminal and then the negative terminal. We then remove the old battery and insert the new one. We connect the battery to the negative terminal first and then to the positive terminal, securing it with the locking nut and reattaching the front.

After reassembling the cover, we start the scooter to test the battery's functionality.
