Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the Yamaha Xmax 250 in a simple and quick way. To perform the battery replacement, we need to use a screwdriver to remove the cover by unscrewing the two screws. After removing the cover, we will need to take off the front of the scooter in order to access the battery. We remove the battery clamp by unscrewing the nut and proceed with the replacement by disconnecting the positive terminal and then the negative terminal. We then remove the old battery and insert the new one. We connect the battery to the negative terminal first and then to the positive terminal, securing it with the locking nut and reattaching the front. After reassembling the cover, we start the scooter to test the battery's functionality.

How to Check the Coolant Level in a Yamaha Xmax

In the following video, you will learn how to check the coolant level in a 2008 Yamaha Xmax. First, position the motorcycle on a stable surface by raising the stand. Next, lift the cover located at the top of the motorcycle to access the coolant drain bolt. To top up the coolant, unscrew the cap as shown in the video and add the fluid until it reaches the maximum level, indicated as Max. Once finished, close the valve and refit the cover. At this point, start the engine and let it run at idle for a few minutes to eliminate any air bubbles that may have formed inside.
