How to replace the brake fluid on a Yamaha Xmax 250? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Position the scooter on its original stand, then remove the screws securing the cap of the container where the brake fluid is located (handlebar). Using a spanner, unscrew the oil bolt above the caliper (drain the fluid into a container). Before refitting the bolt above the caliper, bleed the caliper using a tube (as shown in the video). Finally, top up with new fluid and close with the metal cap (bleed until the brake lever pressure is correct).
