To reset the service light related to the oil change on a Yamaha XMAX 300, turn on the ignition and press the button on the handlebar to access the vehicle settings. Select the reset setting and update the mileage for the next oil change. Complete the reset by restarting the instrument panel. If the reset does not occur successfully, it will be necessary to visit a workshop for a diagnostic check as the oil sensor may not read the correct amount of oil in the tank.
