First, ensure that the engine is cool enough to operate safely, then position a container underneath the scooter, locate the drain hole bolt, and unscrew it using a 12mm socket spanner.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then open the filter cap with an 8mm spanner and insert the replacement. At this point, simply reassemble everything and pour in the required amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
