How to replace the Yamaha Xmax 400 battery

Let's go and change the battery of a Yamaha Xmax 400, we need a 4mm Allen key, a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench. The battery of the Xmax 400 is located in the front, so it is necessary to remove the front cover, we start by removing a plastic cap in the middle of the headlights, disassemble the lower part of the front fairing, to remove the front fairing we unscrew a screw in the center of the front lights and 2 screws on the sides of the dashboard with a 4mm Allen key, remove the screws and remove the fairing by pulling it. Once the hull is removed, we find the battery; to remove the battery we are going to remove the screws with the 10mm wrench that hold the metal support, we also remove the plastic cover in order to have greater access to the battery. We remove the battery by first unscrewing the negative pole and then the positive pole with a Phillips screwdriver. Once the old battery has been removed, we install the new battery in the same way by first screwing the positive poles and then the negative pole, we test by turning on the scooter, we also test if the alternator works well and after having carried out these checks, we can reassemble the front part. of the scooter in the reverse direction to that described for disassembly.

How do you reset the Service warning light on the Aprilia Shiver 750?

In order to reset the Aprilia Shiver Service warning light, the instrument panel must be turned on, so that the menu can be accessed: by moving the controls to the right of the steering wheel, it will be possible to select the "Diagnostics" item. Then you will have to enter the code 12390 to access the Diagnostics menu: at this point, by selecting "Coupons reset" a confirmation screen will appear.
