Let's find out in this guide the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing chain of the Yamaha Tmax 500 scooter. First we put the central stand to our scooter and start by disconnecting the exhaust manifold from our cylinders, unscrewing the nuts ; after which we go to drain the engine oil. At this point we are going to remove the spark plugs to later disassemble the cylinder head cover, in order to access the tappets and the timing chain; we take the references necessary to replace the belt, following the video to the end!

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
