In this video, you can see where the battery is located on the Yamaha XMAX 250 scooter and how to replace it, an extremely simple and quick operation. As shown, it is positioned at the front of the scooter, just below the handlebars. To access it, first, unscrew each fixing screw of the plastic front panel, then remove it by prying along the entire perimeter with a spatula. Once done, unscrew the screws of the battery retaining strap, pull it out of the housing, and disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative. To install the replacement, follow the reverse procedure.

To remove the final drive from a BMW R 1200 GS, loosen the bolts securing the exhaust so it can be removed along with the rear wheel. The rear wheel will also be removed by unscrewing the five bolts that secure it to the swingarm.
