Model: Yamaha Tracer 900
Part: Shock absorbers
Adjustment of the rear shock preload of the Yamaha Tracer.

To improve the comfort and handling of the Yamaha Tracer, it is necessary to adjust the preload of the rear shock absorber. This can be done by compressing the spring if we are traveling with a passenger and luggage, or loosening it for a softer ride. To do this, we will use a hook-shaped wrench provided with the bike. Unfortunately, accessing the wrench can be quite difficult, and it requires a significant amount of effort to turn it. Therefore, it is advisable to get an extension to increase the leverage and a thinner profile wrench to work better in the limited space.
