How do you reset the V-Belt indicator light of the Yamaha Tmax 500?

In order to reset the V-Belt warning light on the Yamaha Tmax 500, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once this is turned on, you can repeatedly press the button located under the instrument panel until the partial odometer appears. In this way, you can hold down the button for a few seconds until the V-Belt warning light disappears completely from the instrument panel. At the end of the procedure, you can turn off the instrument panel by turning the ignition key.
