To reset the V-Belt warning light on the Yamaha Tmax 500, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the ignition is on, repeatedly press the button located under the instrument panel until the trip meter appears. At this point, hold the button down for a few seconds until the V-Belt light disappears completely from the instrument panel. After completing the procedure, turn off the ignition by turning the key.
