In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Yamaha R6, a very simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we remove the left side fairing and place a container underneath the motorcycle. We then locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using a socket wrench and let all the oil in the system drain out. Finally, we unscrew the old filter and tighten both the replacement and the bolt. At this point, all that remains is to pour in the new oil through the appropriate hole and reassemble everything.
