In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Yamaha R6, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then place a container under the bike and remove the left side fairing. Next, locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is to unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the bolt, and pour in the new oil through the appropriate hole.
