To replace the fuel pump in the Fiat Punto mk2, let's start by disconnecting the battery, first the negative pole and then the positive pole. The next step is to depressurize the fuel system. To do this, we remove the airbox and locate the valve to the left of the intake manifold. The valve is covered by a cap, unscrew it, placing a cloth on it, press the inside of the valve with a screwdriver in order to release all the pressure. Finally, we proceed to replace the pump, located under the rear seat, simply by unscrewing the external ring nut that holds it firmly to the tank.
