How to remove the fuel pump of a Fiat Punto? To begin, we disconnect the battery cables, then, we remove the seats from the rear seats of the car. Unscrew the fastening screws of the metal cap with a screwdriver, remove it from its seat, use absorbent paper or old fabrics around the perimeter to stop liquid leaks. Unscrew the large locking pin of the fuel pump with a chisel, disconnect the power supply terminals and the liquid circulation pipes. We extract the floating fuel pump from its seat with attached pieces. Finally we reassemble a new piece.
