To replace the fuel pump on a Fiat Punto, lower the rear seat completely to access the components underneath. Here you will find the pump cover, which must be removed by unscrewing the fastening screws to access the underlying components. By disconnecting the hoses, you can extract the pump from its housing and then insert the new replacement part. Once the new pump is in place, close it with the cover and replace the seat.
