The BMW 1 Series F20 is available in a huge range of different engines, each with its own amount of engine oil. For example, we start from a minimum of 4.2 liters for the 114i, 116i, 118i and 120i versions, to a maximum of 6.5 liters for the M135 and M140 versions. The correct quantity of engine oil for the model in possession is indicated in the vehicle use and maintenance booklet.
