In this video, you will see how to check the engine oil level in the BMW 1 Series, a very simple and quick operation. This vehicle does not have a dipstick in the engine bay, but you can check the level using the onboard instrumentation. First, go inside the cabin, then start the engine and, using the indicator arrows on the left control stalk, navigate to the oil screen. Next, press the "BC" button and check the level on the corresponding bar. If it shows empty, repeat the operation after the engine has warmed up sufficiently.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever.
