After removing the cover panel, use a socket wrench to unscrew the large bolt from the oil pan. Allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container and reattach the oil pan bolt. Lower the vehicle to the ground, raise the hood, and secure it. Remove the oil filter from the engine compartment. Finally, top off with new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal measurement.
