Should it be necessary to top up the coolant / antifreeze on the BMW X1, produced starting from 2015, it will be sufficient to follow this simple procedure: first make sure that the car engine has cooled down; then open the engine compartment and locate the coolant reservoir (usually located at the bottom right with a black cap); carefully open the cap paying attention to the vent as it could be very hot; pour distilled water mixed with antifreeze into it (based on the percentage indicated on the package and / or in the use and maintenance manual), making sure not to exceed the level marked with MAX; close the cap making sure to match the arrows present (one on the cap and one on the tray).
