Replace the Bonnet Stay Struts on an Alfa Romeo 156

To replace the bonnet stay struts on an Alfa Romeo 156, lift the bonnet and secure it with a prop. Use a screwdriver to detach the metal clips securing the strut at both ends (or unscrew the retaining pins). Fit the new strut to the vehicle and secure it with the clips/pins. Repeat the same process for the other strut. Finally, test the gas struts by opening and closing the bonnet (adjust the pins as necessary).
