How to Replace the Coolant Reservoir of an Alfa Romeo 156

This procedure must be carried out with the engine off. Start by opening the front bonnet of your Alfa Romeo 156. Next, position a container underneath the coolant reservoir. Once done, disconnect the relevant hoses by simply unclipping them. At this point, unscrew the bolts securing the reservoir to the chassis. Once you have freed the coolant reservoir from your Alfa Romeo 156, you can remove it, completing the removal. To fit the new reservoir, follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
