Replacing the panel on a 156? Let's look at removing the rear panel. Remove the screws inside the internal handle and take it off along with the window switch panel. Unscrew the screws in the area of the upper door opening lever. Disconnect the panel from the door (unplug the wiring harness and the opening cable). Carry out the desired maintenance inside the door and refit the new panel with the securing screws and all the plastic covers. Reconnect the power to the window switch panel. Check the operation of all components.
