Replacing the Rear Shock Absorbers on an Alfa 156

How do you change the rear shock absorbers on your car? Lift the car with a jack and remove the rear wheel to access the wheel hub of the 156. Unscrew the securing bolts of the shock absorber (at the top and bottom), lower the car, and unscrew the bolt located on the side in the boot: slide the shock absorber out of its housing once all the screws are removed. Insert the shock absorber into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top of the shock absorber, then secure the bottom to the wheel hub. Refit the rear wheel and the cover in the boot.
