How to Remove and Clean the Mass Air Flow Sensor on an Alfa Romeo 159?

The mass air flow sensor is located in the engine bay, between the air filter and the intake manifold. To remove it, first free it from the two clips holding it in place and then disconnect its electrical connector. Once free, the sensor can be extracted. The video author also removes the two grilles that are part of this component, but this is usually unnecessary, and the sensor can be cleaned without removing them. For cleaning, use a dedicated spray, ensuring to spray from a proper distance and with great care, as the sensor is very delicate and may get damaged. Wait for it to dry completely before refitting.
