The engine of the Aprilia RS 660 can be completely disassembled by loosening the screws that secure it to its housing: in this way it will be possible to then unscrew the screws that secure the intake and exhaust manifolds, also disconnecting all the connectors that are connected to the engine. At this point it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the cylinder head, also detaching the valve cover and camshafts; in this way it will be possible to disassemble the cylinders together with the pistons inside them. These can now be detached from the connecting rods, which in turn must be removed from the engine block to access all internal parts.
