How to replace the cabin air filter of the Audi A3

In this new guide of ours, we will explain how to replace the cabin air filter in your Audi A3. First of all, get into the car and reach the front passenger seat, then open the glove compartment and remove the plastic cover located at the back of the compartment. At this point, all you have to do is locate the box containing the air filter and open it to have access to the filter. Finally, remove the old filter and replace it with a new one that is perfectly compatible.

Lift the bonnet; remove the soundproofing panel from the engine and locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts (a spanner can also be used) near the container where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, disconnect the circulation hoses and take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet afterwards.
