To ensure a constant flow of clean air in the Audi A3 cabin, replace the dedicated filter at the scheduled intervals. Open the bonnet, move to the passenger side, and remove the upper seal from the bulkhead, then lift the waterproof cover.

Disconnect the wiring from the bulkhead and move it aside, remove the old filter element with its housing, insert the new filter into the housing, place a cloth at the filter outlet, and clean the surfaces with a blast of compressed air. Remove the cloth, insert the new filter in the correct position, reposition the wiring in the bulkhead, lower the waterproof cover, and secure the seal.
