As part of the Audi A3's periodic maintenance schedule, replacing the cabin air filter is necessary to ensure passengers receive a constant flow of clean air. To replace it, sit in the front passenger seat and open the glove compartment in front of you. Open the flap beneath the CD player; behind it, you will find the cover of the filter box, which you will remove by acting on the retaining clips. Remove the old filter element and insert the new one, ensuring the correct orientation. Close the cover and replace the flap.
