How to reset the service reminder on an Audi A6 C6

In this video we see how to reset the service light on an Audi A6 C6 version: we turn on the instrument panel and start the engine. We see that the service light comes on. On versions starting from January 2008 it is possible to reset the light using the "auto" button located on the central console, which will take us to the "car" menu on the multimedia screen, where we can reset the light. The video shows an older version, so we need to proceed with the VCDS tool. The EOBD port is located on the driver's side; we load the program onto the laptop and then turn on the instrument panel; the system will scan, then we will select "service reset", and we will simply be informed that the operation has been completed. If we go to the MMI, it will say that the data is not yet updated: this is because it will be necessary to drive for a few kilometers for the control unit to update the data.
