If you are trying to troubleshoot the sudden shutdown of an electrical component in the Audi Q5, it will be helpful to know the location of the fuse box to check that this malfunction is not due to one of these components. Open the driver’s door; at the end of the dashboard, you will notice a triangular panel.

Pry it open from the groove at the bottom to access the plate containing the fuses. These are protected by safety grids that must be removed to take out the components.

On the inside of the cover, you will find a tool that will help you extract the fuses.
