Replacing the External Wing Mirror of an Audi A3

How do you replace the external wing mirror (passenger side) of an Audi A3? Follow these steps. Using a plastic or rubber lever, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Apply pressure until the glass detaches from the mirror; this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Once the damaged mirror is removed, unscrew the round plastic plate with a screwdriver. Attach the new mirror to the mirror holder plate. Finally, snap the plastic clips into the supports of the mirror.
