How to replace the key fob battery of an Audi A3? Follow these steps: take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a lever to separate the two covers as shown in the video. Remove the worn battery from the housing (after separating the two halves of the covers), take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic battery holder into the key fob cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check that the key fob functions correctly.
