How do you remove the steering wheel with airbag on an Audi A3? This operation is straightforward if you follow the steps: insert a screwdriver or special keys (medium length) into the side slots on the steering wheel and unscrew the retaining pins. Remove the airbag by taking off the cover with the logo. Once the pins are removed, disconnect the power connectors and extract the steering wheel from the steering column (remove the airbag from the wheel). For reassembly: connect the power connector, then insert the steering wheel into the steering column, push it in with your hands until it is fully seated, and screw in the retaining pins.
