How to remove the airbag of the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

Today we will explain how to remove the airbag from the Audi A3 model 8P. Before proceeding with the removal of the airbag, we recommend disconnecting the car's battery to prevent the system from activating and causing damage. Immediately after, we position the steering wheel vertically and insert a Torx key into the hole to unscrew the screw. Once the steering wheel is open, we remove the airbag unit by disconnecting the connectors. Then we can proceed with other maintenance operations. To install the airbag, you will need to follow the procedure just explained but in reverse and conclude by reconnecting the battery.
