How do you deactivate the passenger airbag of the Audi A3?

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

In order to deactivate the passenger airbag of the Audi A3, you need to open the glove compartment located on the side of the front passenger. Once the compartment is open, you will be able to locate a lock on the top left of the compartment. Here you can insert the ignition key to move the lock from OFF to ON; once this is done, you will notice that the indicator light for deactivating the passenger airbag is on. To turn it off, simply move the lock back to ON.
