Resetting the SERVICE Indicator for the Next Maintenance

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004

To manually reset the next maintenance indicator, first display the "SERVICE" message on the onboard computer: if you are anticipating the maintenance, wait for the indication to appear before proceeding with the reset.
-Turn off the ignition;
-Press the maintenance interval recall button (the one with the wrench icon, located at the bottom right of the instrument panel, between the check button and the trip reset button) and, while holding it down, turn on the ignition.
-One of two warnings will appear on the display: SERVICE FRA --- KM or SERVICE!
-Within 5 seconds, release the maintenance recall button and press the trip reset button until the SERVICE! message disappears from the display and the dashes ---- appear: reset completed (if the reset button is not pressed within 5 seconds, the system automatically exits the reset menu).
