How do you reset the Service light on the Audi A4?

To reset the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Audi A4, you need to press and hold the button with the icon of the English key located on the right side of the instrument panel. By continuing to hold down the button, you will be able to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch so that the instrument panel can be turned on. Once the panel is turned on, you can continue to hold down the button for a few seconds until the light is reset; at the end of the reset, you can release the button and turn off the panel permanently.

As shown, the filter is positioned at the lower part of the engine, right between the left half-shaft and the sway bar attachment. To replace the filter, first, go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions. Then, using an 18mm wrench, open the drain valve and allow any water present to escape. Next, unscrew the housing, remove the old filter, insert the replacement along with a new gasket, and reassemble everything.
