How to disassemble the front headlights and how to install the LED Kit on a 2015 Audi A1

Model: Audi A1 8X, MK 1 - Years 2010-2018

Relax, this is a job that can also be tackled independently, if you have the right patience. To remove the front headlights, open the hood and unscrew the fixing screws, usually there are two above and one on the side. Then disconnect the electrical connector and carefully remove the headlight. To install the LED Kit, remove the halogen bulb and insert the LED one making sure it is securely fastened, connect the driver, if present, and secure everything to avoid play or vibrations. Before reassembling the headlight, do a test by turning on the lights. If everything works, reassemble the headlight following the reverse procedure, screwing it in well and reconnecting the connector. And there you have it, now your A1 will have a brighter and more modern light. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I recommend contacting an expert or a trusted workshop.
