How do you unlock the automatic gearbox of the Audi A6?

It will be possible to unlock the automatic transmission of the Audi A6 by levering with an object so that it is possible to detach the leather covering that surrounds the gear selector: once this covering is lifted, it will be possible to proceed by removing the ashtray from its seat and detaching the small underlying covering panel. Now, a screwdriver can be inserted into the housing of this panel to lower the lever for unlocking the transmission: then it will be possible to move the selector to the necessary position.
