To replace the timing chain of the Audi A1 1.4 TSi, you need to lift the car so that you can loosen the fastening screws of the front right wheel: once the wheel arch has been removed, you will be able to locate the side part of the engine block. Here you will find the chain tensioner, which must be removed from its housing by loosening the screws that hold it: the tension of the chain can then be reduced in order to extract it and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, you can adjust the chain tension and verify that everything is functioning properly.
