Today we will explain how to remove the roof of the vehicle to perform the replacement of the fabric lining on an Audi A3 car. Before replacing the upholstery, we need to remove the roof, so we proceed to disassemble the interior light fixture using a flat-head screwdriver. As shown in the video, after removing the light fixture cover, we unscrew the central screw to remove the entire block and disconnect the bulb connector. Using a flat-head screwdriver and a screwdriver, we remove the sun visors and handles. To remove the roof cover, it is also necessary to remove the seat belt covers. To do this, we use a star screwdriver that we will insert on the side to release the plastic. Remove the door seal and remove the roof from the vehicle. Now it will be possible to replace the upholstery and then mount the roof inside the vehicle by following the steps in reverse.
