DIY: how to restore and polish the cloudy front headlights of the Audi A2

On the Audi A2, the video shows how to make the front headlights clear again. First, protect the area around the headlight with wide masking tape along the bumper and wing edges to avoid damaging the paint during the process. Clean the A2 headlight with a spray bottle and cloth, then start wet sanding: the operator moistens the surface and repeatedly uses abrasive paper of different grits mounted on a manual pad, always keeping the plastic wet. When the opacity becomes uniform, rinse the headlight and dry it with a cloth. With the bonnet open, the products used are visible on the wing, including Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Meguiar's Ultimate Polish: first, apply the abrasive compound to an applicator and work it by hand on the headlight to remove sanding marks, then remove the excess with a microfiber cloth. Next, apply the finishing polish in the same way to increase the clarity and shine of the headlight. At the end, remove the protective tape, and the Audi A2 headlight appears visibly clearer and more uniform, with the front cleaned and ready for use.
