How to Remove the Fuel Pump on Audi A6

Learn how to remove the damaged fuel pump on an Audi A6. Remove the rear seat cushions, then use a socket wrench to unscrew the metal cap's securing screws and take it out of its housing. Unscrew the large securing nut of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fuel return lines. Extract the floating fuel pump from its housing. Install the new fuel pump inside the tank, connect the fuel return lines, and the power line above the pump. Tighten the screws and reinstall the seats.
